Pangumagat festival is a yearly celebration of Balud Masbate. It held in 2nd week of April to have a tourist attraction and also imply that Balud has a very hospitable citezen. The word pangumagat means panguma and panagat which are the mean source of income in this place. In this celebration we can witness different kinds of performing arts like street dancing competition that hosted by different school in balud, singing competition and the famous Mutya ng Balud. In pangumagat festival 2008 and 2009, the famous motocross was held through the effort of Balud municipal mayor.
